Chase Kelley Review of Kezar Bar and Restaurant

My fiance and I happened upon this iffy establishment one evening post bloody marys and brunch grub (sans the sangria) at Cha Cha Cha. Cole Valley proved to be the hidden hobbit hole everyone was talking about - hardware stores, Christmas lights, and grocery stores where people just know your name.
Kezar was a beacon - a guiding light to our Sunday night travels. Well, here comes the bad side. Service was less than satisfactory and downright uninviting, we waited what seemed like a download of the new iphone update to initiate a drink request, and by the time we reached 99%, the bartender was still giving us menu after menu of unwanted and slightly confusing items. I mean, seriously, how hard is it to just order a cocktail at a well established watering hole? Well, it's okay, cause the drinks got me and hubby quite buzzed, and as my fiance recalls, "the long island iced tea had more long island vibes than sweet brewed leaves."
Call me a nay-sayer, but this play is Ok. Would wander in again, but not a common destination.
Kezar is good peoples, but ya'll should step it up!
