Went for a spa day (glow spa package) we had our treatments first I had a facial which was OK, bit rough at times, don't know if it's from her being heavy handed or all the aromatherapy oils but I left with a headache. My mum also had a facial but thankfully she didn't have the same problem. My sister enjoyed an aromatherapy massage. The treatment rooms were nice and modern. We then went to the pool which was a lot smaller than expected and was really shallow. At 5ft 4 I could walk the whole length of the pool with the water about chest height. The paint was peeling off the walls and it was all a little shabby. The spa pool was tiny with the jets only going intermittently and the water was way too hot to be comfortable. We had lunch in a quiet lounge away from everyone else which was lovely. Advertised as a light lunch, it was actually huge and tasted great!! Lunch was probably my favourite bit about the day. Only received one bottle of water between the three of us for lunch. Didn't offer us the option of buying any other drinks and once food was served all staff disappeared. We wanted to relax after such a huge lunch but there was nowhere to just relax (signs advertising a non existent relaxation suite) we sat by the pool after eventually finding loungers for the three of us but didn't stay long as it was just too hot. We were really thirsty but the water fountains didn't work and we were told not to consume drink in the pool and spa areas not purchased from them. The sauna was empty as everyone we came across said it was unbearably hot and there was no water available to steam it up in there. It just smelt like burnt wood. Turkish steam room was tiny but otherwise OK. We went to the gym for a while but the machines were all packed in too close together and it just wasn't a very welcoming environment. We tried to say goodbye and thanks to staff as we left but they were too busy gossiping to acknowledge us. For my first spa experience it was okay but generally underwhelming.
