My elderly parent was in the Emara building recovering from a fall and received exceptional care while there... the nursing, occupational therapy, and cleaning staff were generally very caring and compassionate with the exception of a few staff members.. i would have given a 5 star rating but they had nursing staff reductions in Sept 2017 and the level of care suffered noticably due to this change. The hospital is very clean and well maintained.. Parking is expensive and often difficult to find a space at high traffic times.. there are some improvements that nursing staff should keep in mind - ensure patients have things such as fesh drinking water, tissues, trays, etc within reach.. try to keep the room tidy when finished providing care, such as putting soiled clothing in bags and not strewn on chairs tables or the closet flloor. Put soiled incontinance items in the appropriate garbage recepticals stored outside the patients rooms... These are just some steps to ensure that the elderly that are unable to care for themselves are able to live with a level of dignity.... overall though, the staff are wonderful care providers and a pleasure to converse with...
Thank you on behalf of my parent for a wonderful care experience..
