Most stations were up to par. Wanted desperately a seaweed salad that was on sale at one station. Picked it up to purchase. I initially did not look at it carefully. As I was about to pay, there was a large section on top that unmistakably had "a quarter" size of mold on top. Although there were many other salads and items on display, I notified the owner and passed on everything else at that station. I have found that products are not moving as quickly during the quarantine and spoilage is a common problem. Not just here. Caution to shoppers--choose and inspect your perishables carefully. The heat wave we are having and COVID quarantines (that allow food to set longer on the shelf) make it very important to check all food closely. I'm still a fan of Eastern market but a cautious one.
