Bought a Kenmore Series 500 Washer 8/2318 on sale ...

Bought a Kenmore Series 500 Washer 8/2318 on sale for $519.00 +$199.00 for a maintenance plan. Washer broke down March 25, 2019. Scheduled a repair appt. for April 1st. Technician said the washer needed a new gear case and agitator and he ordered the parts and said he would be back on April11th. UPS delivered a parts box on April 4th. An appt was made for the next day April 5th. When the technician arrived, he couldn't fix the washer because only one part was in the box. He rescheduled the appt for April 10th. The part was delivered on Apr. 8th. No technician should up on April 10th. I asked the technician who to call if the part didn't come in. If that happened, he said to call Sears and they would cancel the appt. I never called Sears and they decided on their own to cancel the appt. Now there are no repair openings until April 17th. Meanwhile my 75 yr old wife has been going to the laundry mat twice a week since April1st. and will have to make two more trips before April17th. She spent two hours on the phone and talked to seven different people some of which were in the corporate office. GOT NO SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM. Just a bunch of apologies. I have read many other reviews from people equally unsatisfied as we are. It's sad that a top notch company that has been in the business for 100 years has been driven into the ground by highly overpaid executives and mismanagement on their part. Not surprised that so many stores have closed as customers are leaving Sears in droves. Don't understand how the Board of Directors continue to increase the CEO's salary with big annual bonuses! Been a customer of Sears for years. Have owned 5 houses and always bought all our appliances at Sears. NO MORE...I will be giving my business to local businesses who appreciate their customers. Again. too bad Sears has become a big SNAFU.
