Awesome place, very easy to get to as it's right off the Highway. I left downtown San Diego at 4:30 am, was able to buy tickets, rent skis, and eat right in time for the lift to open and be one of the first down the hill. Great fun day and was back home by 6:00 for a fun day and great sunny California weather.
