Homeowners claim experience horrible. CA, to Fl, to GA, then to my home in NC. Left me in house with NO heat in 17 degree weather, with ice storm coming. Promised next day check, then did not send, nor bother to tell us they did not. Knew I was sick, knew owner leaving for extended period,, and needed check and estimate to arrange repairs. NO one cared. Took over 8 phone called and 6 emails to receive small check for $89 reimbursement for hvac quote.
Universal North American Insurance Company is the "real" insurer". They contract with Arrowhead General Insurance Group to handle policies and claims. Good luck finding info, or humans.Appears just many layers of red tape and different companies "passing the buck".
Now they are cancelling policy claiming I did not prove rear porch repaired. There is NO rear porch! Gave me less than 5 days to prove hvac repaired. Did not matter that delay was due to their negligence. One notice was dated 2/28. A Sunday, interesting they have US mail service when US mail is closed. Not BB rated, ARE rated in rip off reports. Got this policy per Geico recommending. Now considering dumping Geico. If this company meets Geico standards, then Geico has NO standards.
