They charge a high deposit even if you have good credit and a history of good utilities service. Looks like they make a profit from asking every customer for a deposit. They could not explain to me how they based their decision on requiring a deposit, I have good credit and had FPL for over 20 years never late. I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Public Service Commission, I encourage everyone that has been victimized too to do so. They need to tell you what their deposit criteria is. Is a 700 credit score not considered good? Is good to everyone else.
