We stayed overnight due to a deal for members we only paid $15 for the room. It was a good experience pulling in and finding parking. We only had to pay $5 for parking due to the membership card. Getting to check in wasn't hard however with the way we came in we walked past the casino and before even getting there you can smell the cigarette smoke. There are designated smoking and non-smoking areas however you have to pass the smoking area to get to check in when coming from the parking garage. It seems like a flawed idea to me since to get to other parts of the hotel from check in you have to pass the smoking area. I had to use my shirt sleeve to make breathing in the area bearable. Check in was quick and even though we got a trainee both women were respectful and helpful. We got member cards for those in the party that didn't have one and that was a fast process as well. It was my birthday so I was disappointed that they didn't have any birthday specials. The room was clean and we seemed to have fresh towels and bedding. (Having read some bad reviews i was worried). I did not see any bugs during my stay. There were not many television options however there was still a little variety. The beds were really comfortable and the view was lovely. Riding the elevators was worrisome since some seemed older and rickety. They do move fast and the speed causes you to want to bend your knees. The non-smoking area of the casino was nice and there were a variety of game options. There is a good amount of options restaurant wise and while there were a few clubs open they seemed to only have a few people. Check out was also easy, however it took a little to get out of the parking area due to needing to find the right exits. Overall it was a good experience and I plan on going again for a longer stay to get in some time on the beach and check out the spa. My biggest issue overall was the placement of the smoking areas and how the hotel also seemed to try and hint at it being family friendly (there were small groups of kids all over the place with their families) however there didn't seem to be things for kids to do. Having younger siblings they wanted in on this trip and i was thinking maybe next time, but having been there we may stay at a more family friendly hotel if they go.
