One of my favourite places on Earth. Such a gem in Yorkshire's crown. Exhibits and exhibitions are varied and well looked after, the grounds and views are outstanding and the staff and volunteers I've spoken to are all warm, friendly and knowledgeable. You could spend all day here and still have more to see and explore. The only money you have to spend is in the car park, and that is reasonable in itself - especially if you come with a few other people in the same car. Great for all ages. The food and drink is great too, with plenty of great vegetarian choices and a few vegan friendly things too.
