Recently extensively renovated and just reopened after the Covid shutdown. The previous tent like fabric ceiling is gone now revealing the original Adelphi Theatres high ceiling. The centre of the ballroom features a new, massive, stunning crystal chandelier replacing the earlier one. Many smaller crystal sconce lights add sparkle to the circular room. The foyer has had a large section of carpet removed revealing the Adelphi Theatres original coloured Terrazzo floor. Great historic venue with a parquetry dance floor and proper raised staging area big enough for a large band. Staff are fantastic and helpful, food is delicious.Only hassle is parking as it's a dense residential area. For most functions they have access across the road to the school's car park.
