I have a 2016 Rogue that had a whining noise in the steering wheel. I have an extended warranty and my vehicle has 44,000 miles but apparently this issue was not covered. I think that it's pathetic to charge $146 to lubricate the boot of the steering wheel since it has evidently dried out. This vehicle has been kept in the garage most of its 3 year life yet this issue wasn't covered under warranty and this is an apparent manufacturing defect. So, the dealer should have taken care of this issue without question or charge. I previously owned a 2012 Rogue and never had this issue with it or I would not have traded it in on a new one.
