This is the Headquarters of the Royal Dutch Shell group of companies. Started with the oldest building on Carel van Bylandtlaan 30, originally used by the Bataafsche Petroleum Maatschappij, in the early 1900s. Later a more modern building was added on Carel van Bylandtlaan 16 with the characteristic six Shell Pectens (shells) in the top of the building front. These are relatively modest but very high quality buildings for the HQ of one of the biggest conpanies globally.
