Worst treatment in Airport Security. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a ticket that passes by this airport. Don't even go to Beijing!

My husband and myself wonder as to why the Airport Security people are so aggressive, shouty and very rude even when passengers are willing to comply with the rules and process anyway. I'm even surprised they still got a 3 star review when this should be only 1. The staffs' rudeness level is sky high!

So we have a connecting flight in Beijing going to the Philippines from Canada. In Canadian, U.S., Europe and Australian airports, any liquids, formula and baby foods that's being brought for the baby's needs are allowed. In Beijing, no it's apparently not the situation and they have to be ridiculously mean about it too.

They confiscated my baby's 100ml lotion and kept on shouting at us "FOLLOW ME! FOLLOW ME!" We were surprised as to why the attitude was like we smuggled drugs or something. But then we just shrugged our shoulders and waited for the man to move cause he's been shouting "FOLLOW ME" for about 5 minutes. But then, the man was not moving so we were not moving at all as well. He then made a louder shout of "FOLLOW ME! LOTION NOT ALLOWED! FOLLOW ME!!!" I then told the man that if they're going to confiscate my baby's lotion, I at least want to have a last squeeze on it to use to my baby. I WAS BEGGING... Because my baby has an eczema and that I need to apply lotion on her skin as often as possible. The next leg will be 6 hour long so I asked if I can just have a last squeeze and then from there, I'll just buy a lotion on our destination country. But the man in security just keeps on shouting and scratching his ears saying "NO UNDERSTAND?! FOLLOW ME! NO ALLOWED LOTION!", so I didn't get to have a last squeeze and my baby had to endure a few hours of skin dryness.. At that point I was already crying. These people are ruthless and they did not stop there. They even confiscated my baby's unopened pouches of baby foods, which she was about to take as we settle on our gate in Beijing. She hasn't eaten yet at that point and there these security people were, just grabbing our stuff without even decently talking to us, rather shouts at us, takes our things and shoo us away like we have smuggled illegal drugs as we TRANSIT to another flight!

I mean, I think I can take the rudeness if it's only towards me or my husband. But to my baby?! Beijing Airport staff, YOU CAN TREAT A BABY PASSENGER LIKE THIS?! We're not even going in China, we're literally just passing by!

That's enough experience for us not to go back in that hell. Oh, I mean, airport.

NEVER AGAIN.
