The museum is huge and far more than a family could see in one day unless you power walked everything on a day a lot less crowded than a rainy day during spring break.

The kids in our party were 2, 7, and 10 and all of them found something to be fascinated by. The youngest liked the lighted dioramas of mammals the best, the oldest the dinosaurs and the middle child the blue whale and meteorite.

My only modest complaint is that the elevators are S L O W. We eventually decided it was best to have one person carry the 2 year old up and down stairs and two more carry the stroller. This might not be as much of a problem on a day that is less packed.
