I support the police. They have a difficult job, and it's unfortunate that the actions of a bad few too often overshadow the efforts of the good majority. However, when I get pulled over and ticketed simply for not wearing a seatbelt - no other violation - by a young officer likely trying to advance his career at my expense, I admit I feel a little less supportive.
