I am writing this review to especially commend Neurologist Dr. Bilderback who is treating my twelve year old Persian, Bailey. Bailey has two cancerous brain tumors. Dr Bilderback handled the relating of this information to me with great skill and profound professionalism . Based on her frank and honest discussion (of this very grim diagnosis and even more grim prospect for the use of surgery or radiation as remediation measures), I was able to come to terms with the situation and to take the appropriate course of action moving forward . Bailey is taking meds that will give him a better quality of life for the few remaining weeks of his life. He gets to be at home with his brother and in the loving embrace of our family. Again, I want to thank Dr Bilderback for helping me to arrive at this decision with a clear head ...by not encouraging false hope and magical thinking when one s emotions often impede rational decision making.
