I recently needed to visit the ER. I fell and broke my nose and severely bruised my knee. I checked in giving them all my information including current insurance cards. It was
pretty slow and they took me back pretty quickly. However when they took me back I was not given any ice to help reduce the swelling in my knee or nose. Once they took the cat scan and xrays I was told my nose was broke and knee was bruised. And I was free to go once the finance guy came to collect my co payment still no ice. I paid my co payment and again gave them my insurance card. Recently I received a notice from an old health insurance company denying payment. Now it's my responsibility to contact everyone to give the insurance information already given to them twice. This is why people get so frustrated
