Strong Skip! It s simply a crowded store. No tour. I feel sad for the women working there that constantly get asked about a tour. I ve seen some reviews which mentioned some type of movie giving background on Lindt and chocolate making. If there is such a thing, it wasn t operating on the day I went. And no indication from the women that it existed. Super crowded store. Four checkouts installed, but only two were staffed creating long lines.

There were discounts for buying in bulk. For example 10% off for two chocolate bars, 15%/4, 20%/6 (or maybe it was 8). But still... not worth the time for a visit. There s a large Lindt store in Zurich.

If you are determined to go (at least you will get to enjoy the smell of chocolate outside the factory), note that the Short/Long boat tours DO NOT include hop-off, hop-on privileges to get off at Kilchberg and continue your trip later. For that you need a day ticket that includes zone 150. As of today, the day ticket for 110 (Zurich city) and 150, was 13.60 CHF (a bit more than short trip only bout tour of 8.80 CHF)

Oh, and ZERO free samples in the shop!

A local tour guide mentioned the cheapest place to get Lindt chocolate was in the airport Lindt store since there was no tax. Unverified, but makes sense.
