this place is unethical, unprofessional, i mean just atrocious. the staff don t accommodate to your needs, and may i add, get angry with you over trivial things. they slam doors, curse/yell at you, etc. which is abusive. you get very little outside time, you re forced into a room with other people who are screaming and carrying on, which is triggering for some. the beds are worse than any trashy motel i ve ever been in. you get no freedom, no respect, and no actual help. the ridge is NOT a mental health facility, but merely a glorified prison/revenue machine that exploits the mentally ill. also, while i was in there, a therapist WALKED OUT on a girl who was talking about her trauma. a seriously toxic environment that should be shut down. i will not be back
