My girlfriend and I ate at Fig for the first time earlier this afternoon. We left thoroughly impressed. Very clean & professional, yet homely atmosphere. Our waiter, Jamie, was an astoundingly personable journeyman, who worked magic tableside. To match his service step-for-step was the food. Simply fantastic. For starters, the classic Pommes Frittes, were done to perfection. Next up I had the Reuben and my girlfriend had the Macaroni Gratin. Both were superb. Not overseasoned, both entrees were clean, light, yet filling. To top it off we ended our meal with the Panna Cotta served alongside Thai Chili Sorbet and Balsamic Reduction. Somehow Fig not only managed to pull this combination off, they managed to nail it. The dessert had us both head over heels. A fantastic meal for a reasonable price. We live in the area and we will be back!
