This place is great for kids. The beach by the pier has a lot of crab holes to discover. It also has sand bars which made for tide pools collections. Our kiddos found hermit crabs, ghostcrabs and a few small fish. It was a fun treasure trove. Fisher folks were gathered on the pier and using nets to catch fish which also made for exciting seascape sites.
The beach is sandy and has ample space to lay out. The waves here are very mild for easy fun for little kids.
