Online Click & Collect ordered, selected as the time slot from 7pm to 8pm.
We were there shortly before 7 p.m., at 7:40 p.m. it was finally our turn, but they said that our order (confirmation by email was and was there) could not be seen, allegedly technical problems. We may have to come back. Our objection that we have an hour's drive each way was not accepted. A refund of the money was not possible according to Ikea, so we should have come back. After another hour we finally received the order.
Of course one part was defective. Ikea did not respond to a goodwill delivery by post.
For us that means: another 90km drive, one hour each way to replace a part.
Of course, this part is at the front of the dresser and cannot be hidden at the back.
With the last purchase at Ikea we had to complain about something.
After these incidents, one thing is certain: never again Ikea.
