I have always wanted to go to a fancy hotel and this Kempinski was fulfilling all my needs!
I saw a few reviews and i can not comprehend how would one complain about that hotel. Everything was absolutely best and well organised, the staff is a dream, the room and room sevice has everything your heart wants, the building itself has character and life to it, i love the traditional part of it, the modern part is not my thing. Also the pool could be better - bigger in that matter. The garden is so beautiful and let me start about the breakfast.. I have never in my life had a better breakfast than here!
We had a room with garden view and even that i was very satisfied with, since it's a very nice view to the hill. I have to point out there a detail to the garden view side too, there is this fountain that makes wave sounds and its such an amazin idea and makes a real good atmosphere hearing it in the room.
Im surprised the fitness room is so tiny. Also the room choice of the modern and traditional part of the hotel is not well enough presented. Actually online is no word about it at all and if i didnt ask i would never know, it would be good to make that more clear to guests when they're booking a room, so it's clear to guests if one's staying in traditional or modern part of the hotel. E.g. i would not at all liked if i landed in modern part of the hotel.. Also the water and beer price in the restaurant are insane and exaggerated, the food whatsoever is super delicious!
The beach has sand and comfortable deck chairs, which is nice but the water is awful, because the small bay, it's not the best place for enjoying the sea. If you want the best beach Slovenia can offer, i recommend to go to Strunjan. And the other deck chairs are to pay extra which i find overrated and it shoud be included in the price of the rooms.
In all together the comfort is 100% offered and i am definately looking forward to visit the place again:)
