My family and I went to Runde for birding. We had questions about where to go for the best viewing. Maybe we got there on a bad day, but when we arrived there was only one person at the cafe who could answer our questions - but that person was also selling food. It would have been nice to have been greeted by a naturalist who could answer our questions. Also, the museum upstairs was poorly marked and it was unclear where to pay. I would go back to Runde because the birding ended up being spectacular. The environmental center is a beautiful building but the center could use some better management.
