The New York Transit Museum was a really interesting insight into the history and contemporary operation of the New York Transit System (MTA Subways). There are displays on how the entire MTA system works, how it was built then and today, a selection of historic and modern subway cars, access to the signaling and and block control for Court Station. The only possible way to make this cooler would be if you could get there by train. Even though there are active lines through Court St there is no access from the active subway platforms into the museum so you need to go to a different station and hoof it.
