Kaunas Eye Clinic ward, corridors have not been repaired for many years. When I got to the ward, I couldn't believe there were any! Gloomy colors, uncomfortable. The plaster of the walls is crumbling and the walls are cracked. The beds are like in Soviet times - metal, with springs. There is no soap near the sink. There is only a common toilet and shower, but the shower cannot be locked, because a person has fallen. Patients are treated after eye surgery, inflammation. Why is it so neglected when most other departments in the clinic are well organized?
