EDIT******* I am changing my 1 star review to a 5 solely on the fact that this store is not run by mask nazis. I have ran into LJ and the other manager a few times and neither them, or any of their employees have said anything to me. I choose not to wear a mask because I love breathing fresh air. Just the other day,I went to the register of the same girl my bad review was about expecting her to say something, anything about me not wearing a mask. Do you know what she said to me? "You look so pretty" like whatttt??? For about a week there they did have someone at the door handing masks out to customers. But I would always kindly tell them "no thank you" and I didn't get chased down like you would in most stores. If other businesses would be more patriotic like Ridley's, they would get my business. I still have to check dates on alot of stuff there. But I will gladly check dates while being able to breathe.

shop at this ridleys EVERYDAY. I am a very very frequent costumer, like I have almost 200,000 ridley's points type of customer. But today changed it all. I went to get dinner and had my 2 boys with me. I let them each bring a toy car into the store, (otherwise they drive me crazy) did all my shopping, got to the lines that were very long. But I didnt mind that because they called for other employees to come up. I went to Sara's line, because I enjoy talking to her about her books that she is writing. They had a donation bucket there for some lady, so I picked it up to read it it had like 52 cents in it. And then i put it back down well about 10 seconds later she asked in a very rude voice where the bucket went. Well in that 10 seconds she didnt notice that another employee had collected the bucket. I said that it could have fell and she said no because if it had fell she would have heard it. She then proceeded to stop checking me out because this bucket with 52 cents was so important. By this time I had a guy behind me. She then told me to open all of my bags so she could see in them. Obviously it wasnt there. She then told me to lift my kids coats so she could check underneath them. I am super embarrassed at this point, the guy behind me probably thinks that I stole a whole 52 cents. Then she asks all the other cashiers very loud if they have their buckets so now everyone is looking at me. And I am crying inside and shaking because she is blaming me for stealing. She kept eyeing my purse and then finally what feels like forever after asking everyone about this stupid bucket!!! The employee brings it back. She didnt even say sorry to me.. NOTHING. she said oh well I have mistakenly put a donation in someone's bags before.. (yeah ok? Not!) I just wanted to walk out without my things. She then told me she needed to scan my kids car toys, I told her they were ours and we didnt get them there. She had the nerve to ask me if I was sure! Yes I am pretty sure that these are mine. I then told her I wouldn't steal toy cars and I sure wouldn't steal freaking 52 cents out of someone's donations! I was so humiliated and I walked out of that store crying! I did call and speak to a manager, but that will probably be the last time I shop there. I would rather drive 5 more miles and not be made to feel as if I am a thief.
