We stayed this past weekend for a staycation for my sons spring break. Upon check in we were advised that they had a computer glitch and there was a $3000.00 charge to our credit card and when they tried to reverse it turned into $6000.00. This was Friday night and still today which is Monday it is still pending. The front desk put us in contact with the GM and nobody helped us just kept telling us there is nothing they could do. On the meantime that locked up our credit card which in turn we were not able to enjoy our little vacation because all of our money was locked up. I know people make mistakes and so do computers but you would think that the hotel would offer something more than a there is nothing we can do my husband went to the front desk many times to check on the status and every time they said they will call us and let us know lol that never happened. I m not looking for an apology , I m just really frustrated that they all acted like what is the big deAl I surely hope this doesn t happen to anyone else. It was very stressful for my husband and I. The facility is also very dirty and do not look like the pictures at all. The bartender at the pool bar on this past Saturday was really loud and obnoxious when we were asking a question regrading the food lol i still chuckle because I can t believe the service received. We will never stay here again.
