I took a beginner tennis course here last fall. The facility is excellent and the instructor was great, until the last day of class when we had a substitute instructor because our usual one had injured his foot. I m very much a beginner, so I was really put off when that instructor made pointed comments on my performance throughout the session - don t get me wrong, I was there to learn so I expect to get feedback. However, he came off as frustrated and rude, even making a comment or two under his breath when I didn t get something right away. Considering it was literally a beginner class and we paid to take it, it doesn t make any sense in my mind for an instructor to be anything but supportive in their approach. Really turned a good experience sour and I don t plan to take further lessons there despite that being my original plan.
