I have a membership with Gold Medal and recently had them look at a leaky faucet in my kitchen; the technician quoted me $600 labor cost plus parts. Startled, I watched some Youtube videos, took apart the faucet, went to consult associates at HomeDepot, bought two rubber seals for $10, and the leak stops after I put everything back. I understand business needs markup and profits to keep their doors open, but $600 for what I ended up doing myself? I don't get it. I am not giving them 1 star because I have had several major repair works with them and the work quality is good, but this faucet repair makes me wonder about their "markups" in the previous repair works.
