I live 10 minutes away from The Kayak Shack and us...

I live 10 minutes away from The Kayak Shack and use their services around twice a month. They are family owned and operated, so I see the same familiar faces every time I come to rent a kayak/paddle boards. They rent their equipment for a full day, until 5, for once price. The rental company at the top of the river has 4-hour or full-day rents, and the 4 hour rentals are pricier than the full day rentals from The Kayak Shack. At the top they check your bags for contraband and don't allow you to bring any food with you for your day trip. Everytime I go on the river, a person asks me "how did you bring food with you"? Because, I rented from The Kayak Shack and they allow you to bring coolers with you.. Overall, I would recommend this place as the most fun excursion in my life, which is probably why I go there a few times a month.
