Susan Barborak Review of Old Sturbridge Village
First time visiting since I was in grammar school....
First time visiting since I was in grammar school. Took my anthropology hubby and my highly-inquisitive teenaged daughter. We had lots of questions and the hosts were happy to share. Beautifully kept grounds and buildings. Love that it's a working village. The place will change from season to season, so it is always interesting.
The stations with games to play was especially fun for us. If going on a hot day, make sure to have plenty of water with you, as most buildings don't have ac or fans.
The cafe was nice. The food was good but pricey.
We spent about 4.5 hours there and saw most of the place. Missed out on the wooded walk, unfortunately.
