We stayed here last week. We left early because we found a cockroach in our bathroom. They said the manager would call us the next morning to talk about a refund. He never called us. When I finally got a a hold of him (Greg), he was unaccommodating and stuck up. I don't like to talk bad about people. I've also worked on the hospitality industry for many years. He started going off about how many years he has been doing this in this state and that state and how sometimes there's just bugs and that's too bad. We went through a 3rd party in which he said I had to contact them. I've stayed at many other (much nicer) hotels and when ever there was even a tiny problem the hotel was more than willing to make things right. Greg could have been sincere and actually apologized, for once, and even offered just a discount on a further reservation. Even a "Where do you guys live? When you're in this area please come with your family for the afternoon to enjoy our pool and amenities." or..."I'm so sorry I can't refund because it's a third party but I would love to give you 2 vouchers to come back and enjoy our breakfast when you're back in the area" He didn't offer to try to do anything to make it right. I told him we obviously won't be staying with them again and he said rudely, "That's your choice" and hung up his phone. I was not rude to him on the phone. I talked politely.
