The Information Technology is an elaborate how to be a Windows System admin. The only Linux things taught were how to create a user and add them to a group. They state you will "BECOME PROFICIENT IN NEW, INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES." but they are not teaching new technologies. This course made me realize a degree in IT is just useless. There were some classes that offered hands on lab environments (this is why I give it 2 stars) but far more that have you writing lengthy essays to prove your IT knowledge. Add in the GenEd courses that also have you writing essays and you spend a week writing and no time working on anything technical or advancing IT skill set. I can't think of any IT job where essay skills are at the top of the list for qualifications.
