Helensville branch didn't take any preventative me...

Helensville branch didn't take any preventative measures changing 3 tyres and chipped a chunk off one of my rims from an $1,800 set kept in mint condition. Man in charge denied it was caused by them despite being absent the entire time. Didn't offer so much as an apology. They also only rattle gunned wheels back on and did not torque the lug nuts. Not what I would expect from a reputable company and would cost me more than the 3 tyres to have the wheel repaired.

UPDATE: After Head Office made contact with the store owner he reluctantly agreed to have the wheel fixed. He also became abusive and threatening whilst I had a toddler at my side, to the point that someone from Head Office had to come and be present when I returned to have the wheel put back on. I was told that he had taken it to his mate at the panelbeaters over the road, not somewhere that actually repairs wheels, and that they didn't bother to color match the paint (which you can do for less than $20), and instead I'm told they tried three different paints and went with the best match. There is no longer a chunk missing, just a section of my wheel that's a different color and stands out as it hasn't even had a layer of clear coat applied, so it's matte in appearance compared to the high gloss finish of the rest of the wheel, and unfinished. Essentially the $450 wheel is now more damaged than when it was left for repair. Head Office are apparently powerless to do anything as it is an owner operated store, not company owned, so there is zero accountability.

The man I dealt with is arranging for me to get some benefit from a company owned store, but if I want my local store to be held accountable I would have to go through the disputes tribunal, so there's plenty of cowboys out there just hiding behind the branding.

Have since dealt with the Henderson branch who were fantastic. Head office claimed they couldn't fix my original issue but have attempted to compensate me in other ways.
