I've been coming here for years since it is so convenient to my office, and I can get my Civic serviced while I work. The proximity is balanced out by the pushy staff suggesting that I have things done that were performed at previous service appointments. Expecting that going in, I can show my receipts and proof that the services were already done, so I can deal with that.

What I can't deal with is the blatant attempt to rip me off. At my last oil change and inspection appointment, I received the usual email when the work was finished summarizing the work done and the work that I should have performed in future. It says the car is ready, and quotes me a price. I go to the shop to pick up my car and have to wait 20 minutes at the service desk since the paperwork isn't there. When it finally comes, I am quoted a price $70 higher than that on my email. I question the price and Rudy, the service technician immediately comes out of a back room to take the paperwork and goes back into an office - almost as if he was listening, waiting for me to call him on the price. He comes back immediately with an adjusted receipt and doesn't say anything to me, goes back into the office. The cashier doesn't offer an apology or explanation, just tells me "Nice catch."

Nice catch. What about all of the other people who aren't checking their receipts to ensure accurate pricing? Save your money and your aggravation and go elsewhere.
