WORST AIRPORT IN A LONG TIME

Completely appalling queuing system. Luckily we arrived with plenty of time to go through, and still the check in process took over 90 minutes with 1hr alone spent on the passport control and baggage check.

I am sure the fact that emit was Sunday evening attributed to the business of the airport but the wiring system used is antiquated and inefficient. The single queue to the first check point moved, but a bottlerrap was created soon after, the passport check moved, but another bottle trap was created straight after meaning people who were in the queue 30 persons behind managed to get before us. I lost my partner after this point as the bottle trap split the system up (fair enough this was his mistake for beng polite to others and letting them through). But at the bag check in area I ended up behind 25 more people who were previously before me.

Cyprus airport - if you're going to take this many passengers on any one given day - invest in a more efficient checkpoint system.
