Room was clean. The place was fun! Serious staff and safety issues. A roach crawled out the microwave. Check in person knew nothing. Gave me a room # that doesn't exist. Didn't give me breakfast vouchers so we paid the first day. Room service not good. I asked to clean the floor, they didn't bother to trow out the trash that was obviously overdue since we stayed 3nights. The room wasn't cleaned not once. Lifeguards mostly great and I am really grateful for them.. A few just completely lazy. spend Saturday gossiping over the tall pools while kids struggle to exit. Monday there wasn't anyone at the tallest slide so everyone was just going down without the other person exiting. A man kicked my daughter in the back as she slid down. All the while Melinda? in her lifeguard outfit sat on the pool tables flirting with men or walking around the pool like she was on vacation picking up guys. Totally unprofessional.The next day a kid threw up and when we told the life guard, she did nothing. No sanitation as the kids swallow trow up.
Breakfast was AMAZING. Really good. The hostess was a complete ahole. She loudly comment on as a dad walked out " his kid should have woke up early if they wanted to eat." I literally wanted to hit her. Her attitude was horrible the entire weekend. Just a jerk. Many pools. Music starts early so be ready. This is a place to have fun, not a place to get sleep.
The play area are visible from everywhere so it's nice and convenient. Just be prepared to deal with unprofessional staff. Some staff were really great and management should take time to weed out the Melinda and the Tradewind hostess would be a good start. The gentleman that brought me the microwave tried very hard to fix things, the lady in the cafeteria even brought me a tortilla, Debbie tried her best as she was being yelled at by guests the entire night. There were a few lifeguards that we're exceptional, 2 were Young slim Hispanic? Ladies and young man with long curly hair, they were awesome, rescued kids. The others need a different job. Safety is a real issue here. Looks like some are part time lifeguards and do different jobs on different days, they suck.
