I am so disappointed in the lack of service at this store coming from a strong background in retail sales and customer service Nordstrom's has always been held in high regard in the industry for its excellent customer service and I would think that this standard would spill over into The Rack as well but it clearly DOES NOT my friend who is blind went into the store and simply asked for some assistance in purchasing a gift this seemed to have cause a major problem and much confusion among the staff including the store manager and after a lot of wasted time my friend left the store empty handed and very disappointed for those of you not familiar there are laws in effect for the disabled that state that retail establishments provide them with assistance when asked I may have expected this from other stores but I am shocked not only about the lack of customer service but the lack of decency humanity and simple common courtesy demonstrated by the management and staff of Nordstrom Rack store located in the Oakridge Mall in San Jose California is just sad pathetic and unacceptable I will no longer be a customer.
