Our family of 2 adults and 3 children (16, 13 and 11 years old) visited Vennenbos park from Monday December 31 to January 4, we stayed in (restyled) 6-person bungalow number 807.

On arrival on December 31, around 3 pm, it was very busy at the reception, but we were helped quickly, professionally and friendly by the reception staff. We really liked the restyled house. The beautiful canvas nature photos on the wall, the modern TV - also suitable for connecting your PlayStation! -, the very spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, the atmospheric stove, the furniture, the brand new kitchen with induction hob, smart bedside lamps, the beautiful view of pine trees and fens ... everything looked perfect, nice and fresh and up to date. A flower vase and candle holders had even been thought of, and a 200 games box was ready, very thoughtful! There were also some hiccups; the tight space in the toilet, the limited number of sockets and the lack of a (combi) oven to bake sandwiches.

The subtropical swimming pool with wave pool, 2 outdoor pools, 2 sound pipes and white water course was very cool, complete and clean. The hair dryers were very handy, you could move them up and down via rails on the wall.

The Plaza looked excellent - they sell delicious ice cream! - but what I found less successful was that all the smokers were puffing at the main entrance, by the large revolving door of the Plaza ... There is probably a smarter place for this. find.

It is also nice that you do not have to pay a deposit and that the bungalow is cleaned for you (leave it broom clean), so you can go home quickly and relaxed.

The surroundings are beautiful, lots of forests, and the Efteling and Beekse Bergen are practically around the corner ...

All in all, we were purring satisfied, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this nice park, where you can see that a lot has been invested in it! The price quality is excellent, especially if you compare this park with the much more expensive Center Parcs parks.
