I'm going to be honest I have never liked 'zoos' probably because so many around the world are only in it for the money and the animals are consequently a commodity as a result. There's so much more to The Aspinal Foundation's zoos; Howletts and Port Lympne. Not only do they house and breed endangered species, some of which do not even exist in the wild anymore, but they also run programs all over the world to save and protect what are left in the wild. You might think it's expensive to get in the zoo but it's thoroughly worth it and I was privy to knowing how much it costs to run the zoo each day and it would scare anyone. Help out animals by visiting these 'zoos', they are different and perhaps to be described in another way, like a 'sanctuary' instead!
