As a former student of the institution I can confirm that teachers openly question the existence of God. In my personal opinion, in fact this institution has nothing in common with the Christian faith. I am very sorry that the Holy See reversed its ban on using the words 'Catholic' and 'pontifical' in the name of that university. I hope that in the future the Vatican will reassess this decision because in my opinion, the current state of affairs causes confusion in the people. Also, bear in mind that this institution requires its incoming students to undergo the medical examination that, in my opinion and other classmates of mine, is unconstitutional. However, they have preferred to take the exam so as not to lose the money they paid for the first semester. PUCP loves to play in the small state. The comrades who studied at that institution a few years before me, told me that not so long ago, PUCP fined students who did not participate in the student elections. But I suppose the authorities forced PUCP to leave that doubtful practice. I still wait back to Lima to report to Indecopi that PUCP and if necessary fight in the Constitutional Court!
