Sometimes it time to invest in capital improvements and the for Hyatt Place Waikiki it is that time. The age shows with extremely slow elevators and a less than inspiring pool. Both would require a major renovation.

However, despite the aged hotel I found the service to be efficient and cheery. The breakfast was fine but the did not appear to offer the omelets like other Hyatt Places I have visited. The rooms were of a decent size and were kept clean and relatively updated. The location, while not on the beach, was convenient.
