Review of Float-RIte Park

I attended a music festival a few years ago across the street. One of the days I visited a friend who stayed in Float Rite Park. The campsite seemed orderly and homey. I am attending the same festival again and made the wrong choice of choosing Float Rite for my stay. I made the reservation months in advance and was not informed by the clerk that even for add-on campers, the price per night per person goes up as the date grows nearer. The next time I called the clerk even admitted to me that she did not know of this policy when i made the reservation. Furthermore, they would not let two of my co-campers pay for the two nights they could make it to the festival. They have to pay for all three nights (another policy they did not inform me of). This campground looks like a for profit only establishment. Capitalism at its finest, even in the heart of America's dairy land.

My reservation date is fast approaching and I will edit my review if they redeem themselves during my stay.

Update:
So the stay went mostly well except for a few more minor take more of our money schemes. I will admit it was my fault for the scheme taking place.

The more important event was a double booking of our campsite.

another group who booked the same site showed up about 12hrs after we did and were pissed and made many threats. The campground responded well with one of their many security guards and stayed by our camp for awhile. The double booking occurred because in between my reservation and the others they switched over to a electronic system. Since they were nice I'll change my review to 2 stars.
