My son had a routine physical there with a nurse practitioner in summer. It's no different from any physicals he had in previous years and the process lasted no more than 30 minutes. We received two bills afterwards for the visit, one for a physical and one for office out patient visit. I called to ask about the out patient charge and was explained that during the "what concerns you have" discussion we talked about his chronic eczema condition (which we have discussed at every physical over all the years with routine hydrocortisone treatment). I asked to send the prescription of hydrocortisone to the pharmacy and this became their basis to charge for a $185 extra outpatient visit in addition to the routine physical! It happened to me and it could happen to you!
