Houston Methodist is a great hospital as well as Methodist in the Woodlands. My wife has been in the hospital almost 4 weeks with covid. She has been at the Houston campus since July 28th. The doctors and nurses have been great with the exception of a couple of nurses who didn't seem to have much of a caring attitude. That makes for a rough 12 hours for a patient like my wife who is allowed no visits at all. The no visitors policy needs to be changed! Why can't the spouse be allowed to come in at least 2 hours a day? I'll be more than happy to suit up in full PPE and I'll even pay for it! Being without any family is very hard emotionally on a patient. Hospital administrators should understand this! You could even have visitors on her floor coming in on a rotating schedule. This policy is wrong and should be changed.
