Fashion Island is the Rodeo Drive of Orange County, but with an ocean view. This shopping development was master planned and definitely has an extremely luxurious feel. However, you don't necessarily have to have a large budget to shop there. I have patronized the Apple Store, Dicks Sporting Goods, and Barnes and Noble along with a pass thru of Macy's and Nordstrom. There are tons of high end retailers in the space and the plaza is suitable for walking year round. Valet parking is available for those patronizing the eateries adjacent to the property and public parking is well organized and safe for the average consumer passing through, whether single or with friends and family. This particular area of Newport Beach has been a favorite of mine since my brief sublease in the fall of 2018. I am a minimalist these days, but as I desire and the necessity arises, I like to visit this shopping plaza to upgrade my wornout or outdated pieces. It is truly a luxurious Southern California shopping experience, but with free parking, as it should be. Bravo, Fashion Island for getting American styled consumerism with an Italian flare correct!!
