I travel to the Livermore/Pleasanton area frequently on business, and I have found the Hilton Pleasanton at The Club to be the best hotel in the area. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed, access from the freeway is easy, and the fitness club is fantastic. The hotel staff are professional and courteous. I am a light sleeper, and I found the rooms to be quiet, particularly when I left the air conditioning fan running, The only drawback is that the restaurants are (as always with Hiltons) expensive for the quality of food, so it is better to eat off-campus.
