I personally think it is very bad, as they would send an appointment to me by post, this would be done a month in advance. It never arrived, and now they still have the guts to send a letter stating that I should be allowed to cancel if something prevents me from coming. They are just trying to take the blame! I now walk around with plaster for 1 whole week longer while that is not necessary at all. They also suddenly send me to another hospital without any communication about it. In short, I think all this is very badly arranged and really scandalous that they cannot admit their mistakes. In fact, shifting their blame to someone else.
